Installation/Sculptural work added

Filed under: Uncategorized — garethnbrown @ 12:54 am

I’ve added photo’s displaying an installation I created to work with Bright Rock, the sculpture’s were created by painting large canvases over with acrylic paint and destorting them. After contemplating wether or not I wanted them on a stand or chair, I decided on twisting the canvas so the hardened paint itself would form my sculpture as there support.

Painting on auction, The Lottery of Birth.

Filed under: Uncategorized — garethnbrown @ 4:30 pm

One of my paintings is available to buy on auction here: The painting was done for a competition called The Lottery of Birth run by UYDO. Any money raised through the sale of an art piece, goes to those in poverty. 100% of the full sum raised from a sale, goes to entrepreneurs that work on site with those who need it.

The auction is on for another 4 days, and I’m afraid only those living in the UK are able to bid as it’s pick up only. You’d have to collect it from the LSE in London, at the atrium gallery, old building. Thanks for looking -Gareth.

Latest Work.

Filed under: Uncategorized — garethnbrown @ 7:09 pm

Newest Piece, An acrylic painting created for my project this year- Walking in my Mind. The landscape was created with the intension of a 3D installation leading away from the painting. The painting is a strong referance of the Grand Canyon, with the colours and scale of the painting being the noticable differance from the actual location.
